Hwange National Park is the largest game reserve in Zimbabwe roughly 14,650 km in size, and therefore a superb destination for spotting a wide selection of animal varieties. In addition to being home to the largest elephant population in the world, Hwange has over 100 species of mammals, 400 species of bird, innumerable insects, spiders, amphibians and reptiles roaming through its vast lands.

Deteema Springs Camp
If you’re looking for a wholesome safari experience, Deteema Springs is ideal for you! Located in the north-west of Hwange National Park, this area is famous for its large concentrations of all varieties of wildlife species which may be encountered on walking safaris or game drives. Deteema Springs is designed with a ‘Less is More’ style while complimented with all the facilities of a luxury camp.
On the prowl for some predators? Robin’s Camp has the highest concentration of lion in Hwange National Park. You’ll also experience some of the greatest sightings of buffalo in Africa – where herds of over 2000 can be seen. The camp is located in the rugged Northern area of the park and is made up of open grassland, rocky outcrops and woodland – making it a unique safari destination to visit.
